Automatic backups
In Quickbooks Versions 2021 Plus and above, there is an automatic backup included.
Do I need to buy new QuickBooks Software each year?
Only if you are in a version three years old AND: if you want to use the email function for invoices, estimates and statements OR if you want to run payroll through Intuit, OR if you want to use Intuit Merchant Service
2021 Brings One-Year QuickBooks Subscriptions
In prior years you could use the QuickBooks software for 3 years; but not anymore. Beginning with 2021: All versions are Plus. All QuickBooks versions are 1-year subscriptions;. Or you can purchase a 2 or 3 year subscription.
